Perspective...

Class size could remain around current levels. Shorter waiting times than what we have experienced in the past should continue .

I hop to restart Sunny's herding trial career this year.   If you are thinking of telling me about the cost involved in trialing , it won't be necessary. I know. It is worth it. I like seeing how the dogs from other parts of the country are working, how the judging is currently being handled, site seeing, well there is much more that it adds to ones life experiences.

WHAT IS A TITLE, REALLY?

NOT just a brag, NOT just a stepping stone to a higher title, not just an adjunct TO COMPETITIVE SCORES. A title is a TRIBUTE TO THE DOG that bears it, a way to HONOR THE DOG, an ULTIMATE MEMORIAL. It will remain IN THE RECORD and in THE MEMORY for as long as anything in this world can remain.

Few humans will do as well or better in that regard, and though the dog himself doesn't know or care that his achievements have been noted, a title says many things in the world of humans, where such things count.

A title says your dog was intelligent and adaptable, and good natured. It says that your dog loved you enough to do the things that please you, however crazy it may of seemed and a title says that you loved your dog, that you loved to spend time with him because he was a good dog, and that you BELIEVED in him enough to give him enough to give him yet another chance when he failed, and that in the end your faith was justified.

A Title proves that your dog inspired you to have the special relationship enjoyedd by so few; That in a world of disposable creatures, this dog with a title was greatly loved and loved, and loved in return. And when that dear short life is over,

The title remains as a memorial of the FINEST KIND, The best you can give to a deserving friend, volumes of praise in one small set INITIALS before or after the name. A TITLE is nothing less than love and respect, GIVEN AND RECEIVED PERMANENTLY.

The wed site  https://easyherding.com,  is always a work a work in progress!

Adapt, improvise, overcome !

Has been a favorite saying I had adopted years ago that I seem to have to relied on over the decades and although it has been a lot of work to implement in my life it has served me well.

Thankfully 2024 is over In a wheel chair to start with, then a walker and finally on my own two feet. I am still not able to do a few things (like running ) but I am grateful for the 90% recovery I have obtained. I miss Pic and counting adapting to Sunny filling into Pics roll at class.

Loosing the Long Beach location without warning back in October OF 2025 presented me with a lot of problem ;Finding and starting a anew location, moving all the sheep, disrupting the breeding plans for this year, cost's.

Travel Times

Often in Southern California we measure our traveling plans in the time it takes to get some where instead of miles to get there. Imagine my Surprise when I discovered that it only took 15 minutes longer to get to Moreno Valley from Huntington Beach than it took me to get from Huntington Beach to the Long Beach location. ne student reported that it took the same amount of time to get from Yorba Linda that it did to get to Long Beach. The most surprising example was one that took the same amount of time to get from Long Beach to Moreno Valley as it did for me t get from Huntington Beach.

1 .Long Beach was noisy Moreno Valley quite except that at times you may here the call of a wild donkey.

2. The condition of the working area, Long Beach large, sandy and difficult to walk in. Moreno Valley smooth dirt smaller working area and  a round pen coming soon..

3.Long Beach the blue room. Moreno Valley a real Bathroom.

4. Long Beach an annual lease. Moreno Valley monthly rent of $200 more.
